MAY/2/09 - Several thousand people took to the streets in downtown Toronto demanding an end to the detention and deportation of immigrants. They staged a sit-in at one of the busiest intersections in the city and called for full access to essential services as well as status for all people living in Canada. The event was organized by the group No One Is Illegal Toronto.
